Hello ,
Welcome to my blog ...
Let me indroduce myself , my name is lexie and I love scrapbooking and card making ! its more of an obsession rather than just a hobby .... I have 2 kids Rupe who is 20 and Dollie who is 18 ....Rupe is at Uni in Manchester , Dulcie is at a special school as she has learning problems and suffers from autism .We have had a hell of a year as in August I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer .I had a mastectomy and instant reconstruction in October , and was fortunet not to need Chemo or radiotherapy , and just take Tomixifen ......
My parents live in South Africa , I love to go out there frequently but have'nt ben since August 2011.I love to meet new people and am a bit of a chatter box !!! I love chocolate and wine , although not together .......
My favourite colour is Pink ! I have a varied taste in music anything from Lionel Ritchie , Luther Van Dross , Micheal Buble , Bob Marley , Rod Stewart  to light classical , plus trow in a bit of african music too ....
I have a cat called Baxter .... who is huge ...
Iam blessed to have lots of friends , from all walks of life ..
I have had several differant jobs including being a qualified nurse , and many years later qualifying as a kids nurse , I used to work for British Airways as Cabin Crew .The scariest thing that ever happaned to me was when I was held hostage in Kuwait /Bagdad in 1990 ....
I have also worked in Boots the Chemist selling Purfume , and worked for a long while in The Craft Barn , in Lingfield Surrey , near to where I live. .....
I live in East Grinstead , West Sussex .
